The Inspectorate enforces legislation in order to guarantee a safe, healthy and sustainable living-environment in the Netherlands. VROM is providing funds for Component 3 of the SBC E-waste Africa Project

 

Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI)

 

MEST exists to establish a strong national scientific and technological base for accelerated sustainable development of the country to enhance the quality of life for all. MEST is currently partnering GreenAd in the e-waste Africa Project and GreenAlert Environmental Newsletter.

 

Secretariat Of The Basel Convention (SBC)

The Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal is the most comprehensive global environmental agreement on hazardous and other wastes. The SBC is a partner and is a provider of funds for Components 1 & 2 of the SBC E-waste Africa Project.

Öko Institute – Germany

 The Öko (Institute for Applied Ecology) is a non-profit, private-sector environmental research institute. Oko is a collaborator, providing technical support for the Socio-economic component of the SBC E-waste Africa Project.

 

Research Institute For Material Sciences and Technology Development (EMPA) – Switzerland

 EMPA is acollaborator, providing technical support to GreenAd as regards the SBC E-waste Africa Project.

 


Ghana Education Service (GES)

 Regulatory body mandated to manage Education in Ghana.GES is a partner of GreenAd in the Environmental Knowledge Survey and GreenAlert Environmental Newsletter.

 

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

 

 

Regulatory body mandated to manage and protect the environment, thus they are a key partner/collaborator in our quest to improve the state of the environment in Ghana.EPA is partnering GreenAd in the SBC e-waste Africa Project.
